Marc Hundley
Marc Hundley's posters cull from found imagery, ephemera, and texts. He incorporates images from film, music, art, and literature. In his work, the familiar aesthetic of advertising, replicated through techniques like stenciling and silkscreening and special attention to typography and design, morphs into a poetic, dreamlike impression, cataloguing the artist's personal experiences and diaristic moments.
Marc Hundley (b. 1971) has exhibited at Team Gallery, New York, Herald Street, London, Darren Knight Gallery, Sydney, Cherry and Martin, Los Angeles and Rivington Arms, New York. His work is in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art.
