Andrew Guenther
Andrew Guenther is a multimedia artist whose work deals with kinetic energy and the passing of time. From sculptures in pressed plaster to prints on canvas supposedly signed by Picasso, each of his pieces play with moments in time, the resulting physicality of that moment, and its subsequent, delicate ability to endure. This need to make a lasting—or extremely temporal—work of art also translates to Andrew’s jewelry making through the forging of the piece, the durability of precious metals, and the wearable nature of the resulting item.
