Andrew Kuo
Andrew Kuo is a prolific artist known for his meticulously constructed paintings, which are often a quantified reflection of his inner psyche. Bright colors and rigid forms are paired with text, sometimes humorous, sometimes heartfelt and melancholy. Other subject matters which fascinate him include bodega flowers and basketball player Jeremy Lin.
Andrew Kuo (b. 1977) has exhibited at Half Gallery, New York, Artists Space, New York, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, CT and The Hole, New York. He recently completed a mural now on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.
He is represented by Marlborough Chelsea.
