Paul is a Los Angeles based artist working in video, photography, and performance. His work is chaotic, funny, and colorful. With his continual use of odd and oddly familiar objects and, often times, his own body, he creates a narrative interspersed between his work which hints at personal relationships and experiences. This suggestion of intimacy is enticing and elusive.
Paul Pescador (b. 1983) has exhibited at Park View, Los Angeles, Anthony Greaney, Boston, the Vista Theater, Los Angeles, and Human Resources, Los Angeles. Recent performances include Performa 2015, Colony, New York, metro pcs, Los Angeles, Hammer Museum, with KCHUNG TV, Los Angeles and REDCAT, Los Angeles.
His photography has been recently acquired by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Art Gallery.
