Peter Granados is an American painter whose work combines a gestural style and historically referential characters. Imagery in Peter’s painting and drawing is borrowed from Shakespearean plays, Greek mythology, and the artist’s own childhood. In a narrative sense, his pieces are timelessly archetypal, while Peter’s aesthetic and color choice allude to Modernism.
Peter Granados (b. 1989) has shown at Art 3 Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, and Spray Booth Gallery, Kansas City, MO.
